The High Point Lady Eagles opened their 2009 season with a great performance against the host Northwestern Wildcats.  Chika Ugoji earned her first high school win with a dominating performance in the 12-1 victory.  The Lady Eagles stole 19 bases to pressure the defense and score early and often.  The hitters were patient, and the baserunners were fearless.
