They won't be confused with Boston Celtics' trio of Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, but Devon Branch, Devon Saddler and Tyre Moore was a triple-size headache for Dunbar High Friday night.
The Aberdeen trio combined for 64 points as the No. 13 Eagles defeated the 12th ranked Poets, 76-59, at the Aberdeen Tip-Off Mixer. Branch led all scorers with 24 and Saddler and Moore each had 20 as the Eagles improved to 3-1. Tevin Brown led Dunbar (2-1) with 21 points and Sean Farr added 18.
The Eagles were scheduled to play Kamit Institute Saturday. Dunbar will host Southwestern Monday afternoon.
