Atholton's Howard County and regional runner-up Mike Massarelli (215) had a 54-second pin against Reservoir and a 3-2 decision over Oakland Mills' Michael Daniels, and county and regional runner-up Malcolm Stennett (189) won by a first-period fall and a disqualification to pace the Raiders to a 10-0 mark after Tuesday night's county league tri-meet.

Atholton scored a 44-29 victory over Reservoir (11-3), and a 36-24 win over Oakland Mills.

Atholton's county and regional runner-up Bruce Steinel (135) had two pins, Kyle Werner (145) earned a pin and a technical fall, Adam D'Amico (130) had a pin and a decision, and Kevin Beck (112) earned a decision and a major decision;

Andrew Parlett (103) took a forfeit for the Raiders against Oakland Mills, which defeated Reservoir, 37-24.

In the night's marqee bout, Oakland Mills' Mike Santiago (285) edged Atholton's Brian Nance, 2-1, to win a clash of unbeaten wrestlers in what Raiders' coach, Bruce Lindblad called, "a heckuva match."

Santiago is a defending 285-pound county and regional champion, and Nance was last year's county and regional champion at 189 pounds.

The Scorpions' Jovan Saunders (152) improved his record to 16-2, defeating the Raiders' county runner-up, Doug Carpenter, 2-1, and, also defeating Reservoir's Zach Coe, who, last weekend, earned Outstand Wrestler honors at the Bengals' Brawl Tournament at Blake High School in Montgomery County.
