Reservoir coach Troy Diehl and his squad came together Wednesday to knock off Mount Hebron in Howard County action. The Gators will try for a second straight win when they travel to Long Reach Friday evening.

Danny Summers scored a game-high 21 points, and senior center Bill Reybold contributed 16, leading Reservoir to a 62-54 victory over Mount Hebron in a Howard County boys' basketball match in Fulton Wednesday. The Gators (3-11, 3-7) built a 16-point halftime advantage to snap a five-game losing streak and keep the Vikings winless. 

Andrew Chatham led Mount Hebron (0-14, 0-10) with 17 points, and sophomore Mike McCarthy added 13. Mount Hebron will host last season's Class 3A state champ and league rival River Hill Friday evening while Reservoir travels to Long Reach.
