 Centennial's Dan LeRoy edged Aberdeen's Chris Hoffman, 6-5, at 119 pounds on Friday night to pace his Eagles of Howard County to an overall, 46-15 rout over Hoffman's Eagles of Harford County in dual meet action.

LeRoy returns to the weight class where he was a third-place Class 4A-3A East Regional finisher who placed sixth at the Class 4A-3A states last season.

LeRoy was coming off of a pin of Bowie's fourth-place regional finisher Tyler Smith accomplished earlier in the week.

Hoffman, last year, was third in the Class 4A-3A East Region at 112 pounds and also sixth at states.

Pinning for Centennial were Brian Kraisser (130) and J.M. Yavorski (135), with a technical fall from fourth-place state finisher Jack Western (112), major decisions from Brian Lucht (140) and John Barrett (215), and decisions from Sudip Bhattacharjee (125) and Phil Wang (160).

One of the highlights for Aberdeen was a 25-second pin by 285-pound Aaron Woodward (285).
