The middle hitter helped the Eagles, ranked No. 3 in the DigitalSports Baltimore Metro Top 20, to victories over then No. 8 Catonsville, No. 10 River Hill and Atholton. Centennial only dropped one game in the three contests.
For her efforts, Anderson was named the first ever recipient of the Miller Brothers Automotive Group: Howard County Player of the Week Award on Thursday.
She was presented with a personalized plaque and a gift certificate to T-Bonz Grille and Pub in Ellicott City.
Anderson combined to tallied 18 kills, 10 aces, nine blocks and went 43-of-46 serving for the week. Centennial will host No. 9 Wilde Lake for the Howard County volleyball championship on Tuesday Oct.28 at 7 p.m.
