The Falcons notched a 48-34 home win over Catoctin to push their win streak to five games Friday.
Brendan McFall lead all scorers with a team high 22 points. Kevin Baker also had a big game with 16 points.
Poolesville came out strong in this game, jumping to an early lead, and
never looking back.
Chris Soper, who notched seven points, lead the team on defense early in the
game, also pulling a few key rebounds early on in the game. At the
half, the Falcons had a slight edge 22-15 over Catoctin.
The other Falcon who scored in this game was David Schramm, who had three points. Baker was able to actually get a look at the basket from beyond the arc versus Catoctin, something that some of the Montgomery Country opponents had stifled in the last few games. Baker found his touch from downtown with two three-pointers in the game.
The story of the night was McFall for the Falcons. The intense hustle on both ends of the floor, and especially on the boards really pushed the home team to victory. Catoctin was lead by Szabados, he has 18 total points with 2 points to lead his team. Szabados was clearly the back bone for Catoctin, and was the sole reason that they were even in the game.
