In a thrilling double overtime, sudden death victory over the Christian Home Educators' Network (CHEN), Inidan Creek Moves on to the semifinals of the Capitol Area Lacrosse League Tournament.  Maddie Boudreau had an amazing game with 15 saves, three of which were during the sudden death overtime period.  Despite her efforts, the Eagles trailed 3-5 at halftime.

Battling the rain after halftime, the Eagles found the net five times in the second half.  CHEN had the lead until the Eagles scored four times over the next eighteen minutes.  Emma Baukhages, Siena Roccograndi, Becky Kinder, and Brooke Sulerzyski scored to help the Eagles take the lead.  Unfortunately, CHEN was able to score with two seconds remaining to tie the game.

Though CHEN dominated the first three minute overtime period, the Eagles were able to scoe in the second half and send the game into sudden death.  While CHEN controlled the ball for the first minute and a half of sudden death, the Eagles' stellar defense, led by Krystin Major and Taylor Robertson, held them scoreless and forced an interception by Liz Grindrod.  Grindrod found Sulerzyski in the midfield, who was able to run the ball down the field and score to win the game with two seconds left!  Indian Creek's semifinal game will be Thursday, May 7th at Gunston Day School.
