First-Team All-Beltway

MD Mary Beth Barham, Sr., W.T. Woodson
Barham, a scrappy midfielder, was named to the All-Northern Region first-team this season. She is an absolute sniper on penalty strokes. Barham scored the game-winning stroke in overtime against defending region runner-up Oakton early in the season and flipped two strokes past the McLean goalkeeper in the Liberty District championship, a 3-0 Cavalier win.

MF

GK Amanda Crider, Sr., Marshall
Crider has been recognized in various all-state and all-area publications since her freshman season. Playing goalkeeper in the Liberty District -- where the last three Northern Region Players of the Year have come  -- Crider saved 88-percent of shot attempts and recorded seven shutouts in her senior year. In May, she committed to play at the University of Virginia.

MF Maya Herm, Sr., Walt Whitman
A U.S. Futures Elite player, Herm notched 15 goals and six assists as a midfielder this season. She scored game-winning goals in two playoff games this year.

MD Shelly Montgomery, Jr., W.T. Woodson
Montgomery burst onto the Northern Region scene with a game-winning, double-overtime goal as a sophomore in the Liberty District championship game, a 1-0 win over previously unbeaten Langley. In her junior season she was named co-Region Player of the Year, scored six goals and added six assists. Montgomery is a natural-born leader that's favored to repeat many of her individual honors as a senior.

MF
Katelyn Nolan, Sr., Patuxent
Nolan, a former Southern Maryland Athletic Conference Player of the Year, will play collegiately at Towson. She scored 11 goals and assisted on 16 more to lead Patuxent to its second consecutive, undefeated SMAC championship season and a second straight Maryland 2A South title.
