FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) is an organization the offers business related experiences for high school students. At Atholton High School, our members organize school events such as the Blood Drive, the Atholton Coffee House Night, fund-raisers, and field trips. We also participate in business related competitions like web-building, economics, accounting, and creating a business plan. We have had many of our members make it to the state competition!
FBLA is for anyone and everyone. Its a great way to meet people and get active in the school. We usually meet  the second Monday of every month, from 2:15 to about 2:45 in the media center. Listen to the morning announcements for information and any upcoming meetings.
If you have any questions about what we do or how to get involved, please talk to Mr. Griffin (room 103) or Mrs. Green (room 105). We would also appreciate if you would fill out a profile sheet (see attached document). This will help us find you, should we need to pull you out of class or speak to you during school hours. Also, please indicate which committees you wish to be a part of and if you would be willing to be a Committee Chair of that activity.
FBLA requires a $25 dues. This money goes to subsides field trips and competition costs. It also pays for national dues. We accept cash or checks. Checks should be made out to 'AHS' and can be given to Mr. Griffin or Mrs. Green. If you submit cash, we would appreciate the exact amount.
We hope to see you at our next meeting!
