JC Ends Season with 35-0 loss to Archbishop Curley.

Archbishop Curley proved to be too much for the Patriots Friday night ending their season just one game short of the MIAA B Conference Championship.

"I'm so proud of these boys", Rawlings said, "They gave us all they had, every day, since we started in August".

The Friars struck early and scored on five of their eight possessions.

Offensively the Patriots never got in a rhythm. Rushing, JC had 76 yards on

23 carries, led by Sr. Ethan Reese with 30 yards on 8 carries. In the air, Jr. QB Stephen St. Clair completed three of 11 passes. St.Clair connected with Jr. Brendon Butler for 17 yards, Jr. DJ Owens for 26 and Jr. Sam Chell for 41 yards.

Defensively the Patriots were led by Soph. Tyler Ray who recorded 17 tackles, Jr Steve St.Clair and Sr Sam Von Paris with 13 and Soph Brian Hunt with 9. Hunt, hampered by a hamstring injury all season, also recovered a fumble.

"We had a lot of young guys, Sophomores and Juniors, contributing this year.

We'll be better for it next year" said Rawlings. Next season, the Patriots will rely on strong support from the returning Varsity underclassmen and well as a number of athletes from the JV squad.

"I give a lot of credit to John Carroll," Head Coach Sean Murphy, Archbishop Curley, said after the game. "They had a great season. The coaching staff did a fine job turning the program around, and my hat is off to them."

The Patriots, under new head Coach, Keith Rawlings had their first winning season in years posting a 7-4 record overall and went 5-3 in their conference.
