2009 Senior All-Stars
Nomination Information

Coaches,

The following is information regarding the nomination process for Senior All-Stars.  Along with this information you should have received the nomination form.  Here are the instructions for nominating your deserving players.

1.    The nomination form is in PDF format.  You must have Adobe Reader to complete the nomination form.  It is a free download from www.adobe.com.
2.    Fill out the form completely.  There are both fill-in and click boxes on the form.
3.    Return the form to hayesj@huskers.k12.mo.us.  Acrobat Reader should allow you to email the completed form without saving it then attaching to a separate email.  I suggest that you do save the information in case your nomination gets lost in cyberspace.
4.    Look for a response from me confirming I received your nominations.

Other information:

1.    Nominations MUST be received by Saturday, May 2nd.
2.    Faxed nominations will not be accepted.  If fax is the only way you can nominate a player, then find some who is attending the nomination meeting or…
3.    …feel free to attend the nomination meeting on Sunday, May 3rd, at 1 p.m. at the Capital Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City.  The meeting should only last two hours.  We need as many coaches from all the classes, especially class 1, to help pick the teams.
4.    Please forward this information to other coaches within your district/conference/geographic area (regardless of class.)  It’s imperative that this becomes “viral” to inform as many coaches as possible.  That said, you may receive it several times.  That’s a good thing.  Remember, coaches do not have to be members of the association to nominate players.
5.    Once the teams have been chosen, players will receive a letter telling them they have been selected and instructing them what to do next.  Please DO NOT inform players yourself unless given direct permission from me.  Remember, nomination does not guarantee selection.
6.    If you are interested in coaching a team, please let me know.  The more coaches we have involved the better.  Remember, all-state selection is the same day so you can kill two birds, so-to-speak.
