By now I am sure everyone is settled in for the new school year. September 1 started the new membership year for the MHSBCA which will run through August 31, 2010. The dues will continue to be $50.00 which covers dual membership for the MHSBCA and BCA.
All membership dues are to be paid to your Missouri Association (the MHSBCA). The only money you need to send to the BCA will be your BCA clinic registration fee and luncheon fee if you are attending the BCA in Tucson, Arizona in December.
Please send your membership dues and MHSBCA clinic registration fee as early as possible. It would be a great help for Janet. Early preregistration for the annual clinic is also a time saver for you coaches. If you are preregistered for our January clinic, there is no waiting in long lines at the registration table. Just check-in with us at the table and pick up your name badge and speaker outline packet and you are ready to go!

On another note: Jeff Diskin has done an awesome job lining up speakers for the January 2010 Convention in Jefferson City. He has an excellent line up of college and high school coaches as well as a couple Hall of Fame members speaking. By holding the clinic a week later this year, we can once again have a MSHSAA Rules meeting. We will put a tentative schedule of speakers on the website soon.
The MHSBCA has become stronger every year thanks to all the volunteers how have made our programs so successful. Everyone has done a tremendous job. Anyone wanting to take a more active role in the operations of your association, let someone from the executive committee know. Thanks again for all the help.
