The diminutive senior corner back and wide receiver was part of a stellar DeMatha defense that led the Stags to their sixth consecutive WCAC championship game.

McPhearson intercepted a pass and returned if for a touchdown in that league finale.

The 5-feet-10-inch, 185-pound wide receiver also reached the end zone on exactly half of his total receptions, giving DeMatha a deep scoring threat.

McPhearson is undecided on where he will play college football but has widespread Division I interest.
