KEY 51, CHEN 34
Powered by a 15-2 fourth quarter long run plus a season-high 15 points from junior guard Maris Beigel, the Key School captured its third win of the season and third place at the AACS Eagles Tournament.
Beigel, in his most extended minutes of the season, scored nine of those 15 points in the second quarter as the Obezags (3-4) opened up a 24-16 halftime lead. Senior guard Jake Maldonado, who made the all-tournament team, added 13 points. He had 21 in the team's 62-46 loss to Annapolis Area Friday night.
Junior guard Harrison Barton and senior guard Charlie Flanagan chipped in 12 and 10 points, respectively, for Key, which was missing both of its centers and a pair of guards for Saturday's game largely because of injury.
