KEY 53, SAINTS PETER & PAUL 42
Sparked by six players producing seven or more points and a solid defensive effort in the second half, the Obezags captured their third MIAA C win of the season to forge a tie for first place in the league standings. This was a rematch of last year's final that Key won.
Senior center Anthony Fusco led the way with 14 points, 10 of which came in the fourth quarter largely on stickbacks, and junior guard Isaac Anthony produced seven huge points off the bench to help the Obezags (5-6, 3-1 MIAA C) turn a 17-16 halftime advantage into a double-digit lead in the fourth quarter. Senior point guard Jake Maldonado and junior guard Chris Fusco added nine points apiece while junior guard Harrison Barton and senior guard Charlie Flanagan chipped in eight points apiece.
