Sparked by the play of senior center Anthony Fusco and senior point guard Jake Maldonado, the Key School boys basketball team rallied from a sluggish first half to defeat visiting Indian Creek, 70-48, to improve to 6-6 overall and 4-1 in the MIAA C Conference.
Fusco produced 18 points and 15 rebounds while Maldonado contriibuted 16 points, five steals and three assists to help the Obezags turn an 11-point first half deficit into the 22-point victory. Senior guard Charlie Flanagan and junior guard Harrison Barton added 13 and 11 points, respectively. Barton kept Key in the game in the first half with numerous steals and great hustle. The team's other starter, Chris Fusco, produced eight points.
Key used an 11-0 run to end the first half to take a 31-30 hafltime lead.
