KEY 46, CHAPELGATE 40
Paced by 10 big points by junior Isaac Anthony off the bench and the stingy defensive play of senior Brendan Schrader, the Key boys basketball team overcame a 24-18 halftime deficit for a 46-40 win over host Chapelgate Christian.
Anthony scored all 10 of his points in the second half, including making 3 of 4 free throws in the final stages. Schrader helped spark the comeback with his ability to harass Yellow Jackets point guard Nate Frierson. Senior Jake Maldonado and junior Harrison Barton added 10 points apiece for the Obezags, who improved to 9-8 overall and 7-3 in the MIAA C, placing them second with two regular season games remaining.
