In Liberty District baseball action Friday night, South Lakes HS prevailed against Thomas Jefferson, winning 11-0 in 6 innings. Senior starter Paul Kirchner threw a complete game, one-hit shutout, and helped his own cause going 2 for 3 at the plate with 3 RBI’s. The Seahawks offense was also led by senior outfielder Noah Sweet (2 for 3, triple, RBI), junior SS Andrew Thomas-Calvo (3 for 4, single, double, triple, RBI), and senior catcher Scott Reed (3 for 4, HR, 5 RBI). Reed ended the contest in the sixth inning when he hit a two-run blast over the left field fence. The Bucknell recruit is batting .500 on the season with an .800 slugging percentage.
