SB Sweep into Northern Region Baseball, Softball Quarterfinals

Ashburn (May 24, 2008) - In what has become an annual tradition the past three years, the Stone Bridge High School baseball and softball team swept AAA Northern Region opponents Friday night in first round playoff action and will advance to Memorial Day's quarterfinal action.

The Bulldog baseball team dispatched T. C. Williams, 5-2, and the softball team blanked West Potomac, 4-0.

Both teams face tall tasks Monday: baseball takes on Oakton at 4 p.m. at South County High School and softball takes on Robinson at 6 p.m. at Falls Church High School.
