Ashburn (May 14, 2009) - Stone Bridge High School senior setter Lily Vera signed on Wednesday to play NCAA Division I college volleyball at UNC-Charlotte.

Vera was a first team all-Northern Region selection and the Liberty District Player of the Year as she helped the Bulldogs win the Liberty District championship. Vera accomplished all of this her senior season depite suffering a broken finger on the eve of the season.

She plans on studying biology in college.
