The Colonials led this one 2-1 after 4 ½ innings on ace Mason Freedman’s best district outing of the year.  Alex Radcliffe started the top of the fourth inning with a single.  Jeff Siebach moved Alex to second.  Tom Woodruff then hit a key single to score Alex who had advanced to third base on a wild pitch.  Mason and Jon Wildes also singled in the inning.   In the bottom of the fifth inning, Langley struck back.  With two runners on base, their clean-up hitter, Eddie Gonzalez, came to the plate.  Eddie hit a “no question” home run over the center field fence to put Langley ahead for good.  Colonials freshman, Patrick Still who was playing in his first varsity game, came on in relief and recorded four straight outs to end the game.  Defensively, Jeff Siebach, continued his excellent play at first base by handling several hot shots and swiping two runners out at first base on throws that pulled him off the base.
