Krystal Vaughn had to wait until the third and final round of the WNBA draft to hear her name called but it was well worth the wait.  The six foot, one inch forward from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Lake Clifton grad, was selected 34th overall and will play with the Washington Mystics this season.

Vaughn averaged 15.6 points per game each of the past two seasons and grabbed over six rebounds per contest.  Vaughn guided the Rams to just their second post-season appearance in school history as she led them to the Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT).  The Baltimore-native was the first women's basketball player from VCU to be drafted.
