Game 2

Win

Barstow 26, Kansas City Christian (KCC) 16

Summary: The Lady Knights had a very impressive pair of wins this

weekend as they played Maranatha and Kansas City Christian in a

Saturday double-header.  In the first game, Barstow was able to attack

the Lady Eagles zone with a balanced scoring attack.  5 different

players scored for the Knights, with Kelsey Thorp and Nora Lloyd

scoring their first points of the season.  Hannah Lentell led the way

with 12 points and 6 rebounds.

The second game featured two tired teams, which resulted in sloppy

play at times during the game.  Coach Fox termed the victory "an ugly

win," but was proud of his girls for their effort despite being

winded.  There were numerous bright spots in the game, highlighted by

Tess Phillips' ability to score off the bounce, as she paced the

Knights with 12 points.  Overall, it was a great weekend and the girls

should be proud of what they have accomplished so far this season.
