Jason is originally from Bloomington, IL. He graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University in May 2008 where he played 4 years of Division III college basketball.  During his sophomore year, his team went to the D-III Final Four and finished 3rd in the nation.

Having moved to Leawood immediately following college, Jason is still new to the Kansas City area.  he works full time for State Farm Insurance in Overland Park.  He is currently working as an Agency Field Specialist in hopes of soon opening his own insurance agency.

As of October 10, 2008 Jason is engaged to his fiancee Meghan McGill and they will be married in October 2009.  He also has a younger sister (Stephanie) who is 21 and attends Illinois State University and a younger brother (Austin) who is 13 and in 7th grade back in Bloomington.

Jason is excited about the opportunity to work with the Barstow School student athletes to help them learn about the game of basketball and develop a passion for doing things the right way.
