Level 8 Gymnasts Place at Regionals

(May 11, 2009) - Four APEX Level 8 gymnasts competed at the Level 8 Regional Championships in Waldorf, MD on May 2 & 3rd. Madison O’Braitis, Kylie Klokis, Jessica Schaub and Anli Solly competed for Team Virginia and brought home several medals. Gymnasts competed against other teams from Maryland, Virginia, West Virgina, Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey in the culminating championships.

Anli Solly - 2nd bars, 6th beam, 6th all around, 4th place team
Jessica Schaub - 8th floor, 3rd place team
Kylie Klokis - 8th place team

Level 7 Team Finishes 6th at States!

The APEX Level 7 Team finished an impressive 6th place at the state championships held in Hampton, VA on May 2 & 3rd. Several gymnasts had top 5 finishes and Alex Cocozza was crowned state champion on floor exercise.
