South Lakes (5-2, 4-1 Liberty) at Dominion (3-4, 2-2 Dulles, AA), 7:30 p.m. Friday
Last Week: South Lakes lost to Fairfax, 27-22; Dominion lost at Loudoun County, 23-16
PowerPoints: South Lakes - 3rd (Div. 5); Dominion - 7th (Div. 3, Reg. II, 13 teams)
Offensive Rank (Pts/Game): South Lakes - 2nd (Div. 5); Dominion - 10th (Div. 3, Reg. II)
Defensive Rank (Pts/Game): South Lakes - 3rd (Div. 5); Dominion - 8th (Div. 3, Reg. II)

Each of the top four Division 5 teams, according to PowerPoints, lost last week.

Three of those losses came at home.

South Lakes was held to 107 rushing yards, a season-low, on 27 carries against Fairfax. The Rebels stunned the Ospreys in Reston, 27-22.

Dominion fell for the second straight time last week, falling out of the Division 3 Region II playoff picture with a 23-16 loss at Loudoun County Monday.

The match-up of junior running backs is the one to watch.

South Lakes' speedster Ja'Juan Jones was locked up last week, gaining just 22 yards on nine rushes, but still found the end zone twice. Even with those negligible numbers, the Seahawks still have the second-ranked scoring offense in Division 5 and the third-ranked defense.

Jones has 96 carries for 863 yards -- 8.99 yards a pop -- and 14 scores in seven games.

Dominion's DeAndre Reeves, conversely, had his biggest night of the year last week. He rolled up 253 yards on 31 carries and two scores.

Reeves has 82 carries for 460 yards and five scores in the last three weeks alone.

With 27.3 rushes per game in the last 21 days, durability may be an issue for the Titan stud.

South Lakes will win this game if quarterback Shawn Rana equals his output last week. A bigger from Jones is assumed, ditto for junior tailback Darius Smith and sophomore tailback Stepfon Sanford.

So if Rana goes 12-for-23 for 161 yards and a score again, the Seahawks will get that elusive sixth win.

Dominion and South Lakes have never met. The Titans have reached four wins just once in their seven-year history (2006).
