Prince George's County Wrestling Championships

Heading into the championship rounds of Saturday's Prince George's County wrestling championships, one team had targets on its back, blue, white, and black targets.
Even by the coach's admission, targets were set on the team this season, and rightfully so.
The Eleanor Roosevelt Raiders came into the county meeting at Oxon Hill High School as the defending county team champions, thus, last year's results set the precedent for the Raiders coming into the day.
However, thanks to four individual county champions, Roosevelt went on to a repeat performance of its team county title with 182.50 team points.
"Yep," Roosevelt coach Mike McRae agreed when his coaching staff stated it was harder this year because of the target factor. "We won it last year and we were defending ... but it was a total team effort across the board. It came down to the wire and we knew it would."
Eleven points seperaed the top four teams heading into the final bouts including C.H. Flowers (168.50), Bowie (165), Eleanor Roosevelt (162.50), and Oxon Hill (157).
The championship round begin with a Tito Onyekweli (103 pounds) second-period pin and the wins continued early and often for the Raiders.
Mark Inda (125), Nate Jackson (130), and Donovan Daniel (135) each earned county-championship honors, Jackson's by way of fall.
