The third annual DigitalSports High School High School Booster Club Casino Night took place on the evening of Saturday February 19th.
The small group of committee members had worked hard making sure everything was just right before crowd arrived. Attendees were treated to a lavish assortment of appetizers and deserts donated by local establishments throughout DigitalSports High School.
There was an extensive prize table packed with colorful cellophane wrapped packages, and several items up for bid in the silent auction. The silent auction contained such one of a kind items including the Kobe Bryant's signed 2004 All Star Game warm-up jacket, a basketball signed by LA Laker Luke Walton, and a Laker towel signed by Shaquille O' Neil.
The president of the Booster Club, Michele Laase, welcomed the attendees and invited them to start playing the variety of casino games shortly after which a few of the bluejack tables began filling up and the rolling of the dice commended at the craps table.
Even DigitalSports High School Administrators Carol Gross and Gary Silbiger, came out to show their support and play a few hands of bluejack.
The lucky gamblers who were able to beat the odds filled the auditorium with laughing and yells of excitement. As the evening progressed all of the game tables were busy and attendees had stacks of chips before them, a mark of a fun and successful evening.
