ABOUT THE ATHOLTON ATHLETIC BOOSTERS

About Us

The Atholton High School Athletic Boosters Association is a non-profit volunteer organization established to promote school spirit and work to improve our sports and club teams. Our primary purpose is to get students, parents, staff and the community involved in our programs so we can improve AHS athletics. The athletic programs at AHS offer all students an outstanding opportunity! Academic excellence, sportsmanship, competition, and personal improvement are the common goals of the school's administration, coaching staff, and the boosters. We usually meet the second Monday every month at 7:00PM in the cafeteria. Please join us! We need your support and involvement.

Guidelines

Funds are raised to purchase awards, supplies, equipment, uniforms, and capital items.  The boosters support continued training and development courses for our coaches. We also run a Sports Development Camp in the summer. The boosters donated to the county-wide effort to bring lights to all county stadiums and contributed to the new basketball electric hoops.  This past year the boosters helped fun significant improvements to the Atholton fitness center and are providing for field/bench improvements for the girls' softball fields.

Fundraising

We raise funds through memberships, fundraising activities, concessions at various athletic events, and spirit wear sales. Every year the boosters provides thousands of dollars to AHS athletics. You are invited to volunteer your time and energies to support these fundraising activities.
