Led by two goals and a pair of assists from senior Joe Cummings, Loyola cruised to a 14-2 a MIAA A Conference lacrosse win over visiting Friends, yesterday at Blakefield.

Steele Stanwick also had a strong day, as he scored a goal and addded three assists, while Blake Weir and Alek Ferro each scored twice.

The Dons established control by building a 4-0 lead within the first four minutes of the game.  On the day, Loyola converted on nearly 50 % of its shots.

Loyola is now 3-0 in the A Conference while Friends fells to 0-3. Next up for Friends is Archbishop Spalding (0-2 Conference). Loyola now turns its attention to archrival Calvert Hall, who will face in pivotal league battle.
