The Lady Knights travelled to Fremont Hills Country Club for the 2008 Class 1 Girls Golf State Championship and made a very impressive showing. Leading the way in her second trip to the State Tournament was Caroline Wieland who shot a 2 round total of 178 to tie for 18th place and finish just outside of the medals. Freshman Alexa Dusselier finished in a tie for 32nd with a fine score of 188. Finally, Pauline Laberthe overcame a rough first 9 holes and sickness to finish in a tie for 96th with a score of 229. All the girls played extremely hard and fought through some adversity along the way to help put the Barstow Girls Golf program officially on the map in the state of Missouri. Coach Joe Taylor was extremely proud of the effort his girls put out and the way they represented their school. All of Barstow should be extremely proud! Great job, Girls!
