McDonogh and Friends, John Carroll and Mount de Sales to meet in semi's

The top four seeds all advanced in IAAM B-Conference field hockey action on Tuesday, and now advance to Thursday's semi-finals.
McDonogh, John Carroll, Mount de Sales and Friends all posted home-field wins.
In the semi-final round, Friends will visit top-seeded McDonogh and Mount de Sales will travel to John Carroll.

#1 McDonogh 2, Park 0 The host eagles scored both goals in the opening half, as Carly Napora and Hart found the net. Amanda Kimbers assisted on both scores. Shiff kept the Bruins close with 14 saves in goal.
#4 Friends 3, #5 Glenelg Country 1 Mehring scored two goals and Reed added one as the Quakers ousted the Dragons. Keeper Sarah Goldstein had 21 saves for Glenelg Country.
#3 Mount de Sales 1, #6 Maryvale Prep 0 Abby
Wittstadt scored the only goal and the Sailor defesne made it count in the 1-0 win, as Mount de Sales eliminated the defending champs.
#2 John Carroll 4, Seton Keough 0 The Patriots posted bookend 2-0 halves, with four different players scoring.
SEMI-FINALS
#4 Friends @ #1 McDonogh The Eagles had an easy 4-0 win in the first match, but the Quakers played them to a 1-1 tie in the second.
#3 Mount de Sales @ #2 John Carroll The Patriots won the first meeting, 2-0, and the Sailors responded with a 1-1 tie in the second.
