Aaron Felton drew a bases-loaded walk to push Brent Poullard across the plate with the winning run in North Point's nine-inning, 3-2 triumph over the visiting La Plata Warriors on Saturday afternoon.

North Point (14-3, 12-3), which is scheduled to finish its regular season at McDonough on Tuesday, kept alive its slim chances for the SMAC title with the win over La Plata (8-6-1, 7-5-1), last year's SMAC and 3A state champ. The Eagles are two games behind Huntingtown (13-1-1, 11-1-1) in the loss column. Huntingtown has three games left on its regular-season slate. The Hurricanes scored four runs in the seventh inning to come from behind to defeat North Point 4-3 in the teams' regular-season meeting on April 7.
