Mooers remains undefeated this season in individual events and has helped teammates score top relay points as well. He touched first in the 200 IM with a time of 2:09.04, and posted a Washington State 3A qualifying time of 50.21 in the 100 Freestyle en route to another victory. Mooers swam butterfly on Bellevue's winning 200 Medley Relay team (1:46.02) and anchored the Wolverine's 1st place 400 Freestyle Relay team (3:46.55).
Preston joined Mooers on the State qualifying 200 Medley Relay, swimming the breaststroke leg. He also went third on the 400 Freestyle Relay team. Preston racked up individual victories in the 200 Freestyle (2:04.55) and 100 Breaststroke (1:06.65).
Other event winners for Bellevue included Andrew Barrett (200 Medley Relay, 100 Backstroke) and Kurt Weiss (200 Medley Relay, 100 Butterfly, 400 Freestyle Relay).
The Wolverines will face the Rough Riders of Roosevelt High School next week, Tuesday, January 13, at Queen Anne Pool in Seattle at 3:30PM.
