Loggers Shut Down The Bulldogs
     Sept. 30, 2008, The Onalaska Loggers set out to Montesano to take on the Bulldogs.  The Loggers were a little shorthanded without Middle, Jayme Ahmann due to illness and without Middle Kate Beckett for academics.  But the Loggers strive for a good challenge.  The decision was made outside hitter Amber Durand and Setter Samantha Gordon would be moved to take on the middle position.  And take it on they did!  The offense switched from a 5-1 to a 6-2, and history was made the Loggers defeated the Bulldogs on there homecourt in three 25-21, 25-18, 25-22!
     Samantha Gordon finished the night with 12 kills, 24 assists, 4 solo blocks,3 aces, and 11 digs.  Team mate Amber Durand finished with 17 kills, 17 assists, 3 aces, and 12 digs.  The defense was anchored by Libero Mandy Reynoldson with 15-16 serve receive, and 12 digs.  Kalie Ritchey pitched with 15-17 serve receive and 11 digs.  Freshman Sarah Barnes rounded out the Loggers attack with 8 kills.
