The Loggers are just starting to get everyone back from injury and illness and it showed with a stunning victory over the Toledo Indians Tuesday night, 25-12, 25-16 and 25-15. It was good to see the Loggers back in action with most of there players returning to the starting line up. Jayme Ahmann made her return after a 3 week absence from mono. She was very excited to be back in uniform this evening, she did'nt play with her usual intensity and fire but that is understandable given the circumstances of her illness. She will be back strong as ever come district time.
The Loggers were led by Junior, setter/hitter Samantha Gordon with 8 kills, 10 aces, 10 assists and 7 digs. Kalie Ritchey had a great night for the loggers with 6 kills, 6-7 serve receiving and 10 digs. Amber Durand also had 6 kills, 3 aces, 12-13 serve receiving and 7 assists. Libero Mandy Reynoldson was a perfect 10-10 from the service line, with 14-15 serve receiving and 8 digs.
