Dalton Ritchey was honored first team All-League. The sophomore averaged 12 PPG and nearly 4 assists a game. He was the only under-classman on the all senior laden team. Dalton also averaged 7.3 rebounds a game. He was also selected the Defensive Player of the year for Onalaska. This was the second consecutive year so honored. Dalton is also a Captain for the Loggers. More importantly, he is an 3.9 grade point average student, and was selected All-Academic for the SWW 1A League.
On the second team for the Loggers was Cody Naillon. As a junior, Cody averaged 10 points a game and nearly 6 rebounds a game. A fierce competitor, Cody is a very physical player. He rebounds very well for his size, and is able to play both inside and out. Cody was also a team captain for Onalaska. He had several great games but probably his best was saved for District vs' Ilwaco where he scored 18 points.
Eric Messal achieved honorable mention in the SWW 1A League. The only senior on the squad, Eric played several vital roles. It could be argued that Eric was the best "Sixth Man" in the league. The 5'8" senior was able to come off the bench and play any of the five positions. In fact, during the season Eric was asked to guard post players to point guards. He was a spark plug that often changed the course of the game. Throughout the season he hit several big shots, but his biggest was during the Ilwaco game where he came off the bench and scored 14 points in leading the Loggers to victory vs' Ilwaco.
Rounding out the honorable mention portion was sophomore Brady Stanley. The left hand sharp shooter is known for his long range shooting, and had several break out type games. Ot has he is known, is a very intelligent player, and brings a tremendous basketball IQ to the table. Brady has improved tremendously on defense and will be the cornerstone for the program for the next two years. Also, a very good student and All-Academic selection, Brady is a very good passer.
