Congratulations to the Lady Eagle tennis team on their resounding victory at regionals on April 22. The final day had plenty of drama as Mallory Fields fought through the Consolation Bracket to earn a spot at State and the Team of Zoe Leary/Caroline Anders made it to the Semi-finals to also earn a spot at the State tounament. The team of Brooke Humphries and Chelsea Humphries finished the tournament as Regional champions and didn't give up more than 1 game in any set the entire tournament. The day finished with Natalia Krier playing a grueling 3 hour finals match at 3:30 in the afternoon and finally losing in the 3rd set after a valiant effort that we were all so proud of and giving her the title of regional runner-up. Also qualifying for state on the boys side is Wes Pierce and Drew Harrison who advance to the semi-final round before losing to St. Fred. We are so proud of all our tennis athletes and the effort they gave in this Tournament. The State tournament will be hosted by OCS and will be April 28 and 29 at ULM Tennis center.
