Chris Jones scored 20 points, and B.J. Smith added 17 points as Overlea posted a 72-47 decision over Sparrows Point in a Baltimore County 1A/2A boys' basketball contest Wednesday.

The Falcons (9-4, 2-0) led 36-24 at intermission as they won their third straight. Overlea will try to extend its streak Friday evening at Lansdowne.

Dustin McVey had 13 points to lead Sparrows Point (3-7, 0-2), which has dropped six consecutive decisions. The Pointers will be at Owings Mills Friday evening.
