Owings Mills coach Jack Deckelbaum is calling this year's Eagles "the most talented since 2003."

That's when the Eagles lost to perennial Baltimore County League power, Dulaney, after having held a two-goal, third quarter lead.

"We play in a very tough Division, and with Hereford and Catonsville" being the Eagles' most difficult games, Deckelbaum said. "Franklin should be more competetive this year and the rest of our division games will be battles, especially with the adrenalin pumping rivalry versus Pikesville."

Deckelbaum is a 1972 graduate of Pikesville, and a 1976 graduate of Johns' Hopkins.

"There will be some competition for the goalie position this year between Harrison Segal, who is a junior, and freshman Adam Davey," Deckelbaum said.
