Potsdam Sandstoners v. Massea Red Raiders

 The Potsdam Sandstoners started the game in an aggressive fashion captializing on a Massena fumble to score with 2:56 left in the 1st Quarter. John Coleman (11) made the TD and the 2 point conversion afterwards. The score was 8-0 for Potsdam. It was not until the 2nd Quarter that the Massena Red Raiders were able to score. Taylor Elsner (7) scored a TD with 10:22 remaining in the 2nd Quarter and completed a pass to Evan Raymo (8) for a 2 point conversion. The score at halftime was 8-8. Spectators got a special treat during halftime from the Potsdam Youth Flag Football Program. The youngster rand several plays to show off their skills. It was quite an impressive site watching the kids enjoying the big time on the field. The 3rd Quarter was a defensive matchup with only one score. Massena's Taylor Elsner (7) kick a FG with 5:04 left in the 3rd. Quarter. The score was 11-8 at the end of 3 quarters of play. The 4th Quarter saw a fired up Massena Offense as Taylor Elsner (7) ran for a TD and then kicked the extra point.  (18-8) Potsdam got a break with 7:14 remaining when Ryan Lashomb (24) recovered a fumble. Potsdam was not able to capitalize on the recovery as the Raider defense dug in. With 4:16 left in the game, Evan raymo (12) took it in for the final Td of the game. With a successful extra point kick by Taylor Elsner the final score was Massena 25 and Potsdam 8.
