Jarrid McLaughlin was the top finisher for RPHS.
Ashton Searing was the top finisher for the RP girls team.
South Vermillion won both the girls and boys team races in a 4-way cross country meet held at Riverton Parke High School on Thursday night.
SV's Brice Webster was first overall in the boys race with a time of 19:25.
Fountain Central's Mark Beight was 2nd (20:06).
SV's Dylan Reyher and Logan Laswell took 3rd and 4th respectively while teammates Dion Scott and John Gross also finished in the top 10.
Riverton Parke's top finishers were Jarrid McLaughlin in 5th (21:00) and Zach Babyak in 7th (21:18).
Rockville's top runner was Kyle Wheeler in 10th place (22:37), but the Rox team managed to edge RP for second place overall 55-57.
In the girls race Fountain Central's Carolyn Trueblood was the overall winner in a time of 23:41.
SV placed 4 runners in the top 10: Mandy Kelly in 2nd (25:37); Megan Galloway in 5th (27:04); Elizabeth Hodson in 7th (29:03)and Blair Webster in 10th (30:16) to outscore RP 21-34 and win the girls race.
RP's Ashton Searing was 3rd (25:52) and Elizabeth Bedwell was 8th (29:30).\
Devon Stites was the top finisher for Rockville in 9th place (29-46).
All four of these schools will join 8 others for the 15th Annual Riverton Parke Invitational on Saturday morning at 9:00 am.
