SAINTS OUTLAST REDS IN OVERTIME, 2-1



Visiting St. Mary's got the final goal of the day, outlasting Roland Park, 2-1, in overtime, in IAAM A Conference field hockey action, Wednesday in Roland Park.
 
The teams battled to a 0-0 tie after a tough, defensive first half.  For the Saints (2-5, 3-6) sophomore Ashley Barnes and senior Bridget Hirsch hit the scoring column, and senior Becca Devlin notched an assist.  Junior Anne Callahan tended the nets with one save.
 
Senior forward Miller Hughes scored for the Reds (1-6, 2-6) and senior goalie Kiley Gray made 10 saves.
