- my Soldiers and I don't get much down time, but when we do we like to play
Softball.
A few of my Soldiers have
scrapped together some items but it is not enough for us to play a full game
with. If anyone could help I would really appreciate it.
Where Stationed:
Once we got that information we put the word out to all members of the team that we needed specific softball equipment and within days the boys donated:
- 17 softball gloves
- 8 bats
- lots of softballs (I didn't count them)
- a set of bases
- 2 dozen water bottles with carriers
- 50 shirts (25 red, 25 blue with the army logo and a flag on the back)
- and money to pay
for shipping and the shirts
They
got together last Sunday afternoon and packed the boxes and each player wrote
letters to the four soldiers in the unit.
