After surrendering a goal to the Key School's Harrison Barton in the first half, the Sabres scored 2 goals with less than 2 minutes to go to stun the Obezags 2-1.  With 1:30 left play, Blake Weishaar fought off three defenders to slip a perfectly timed pass to Turner Lacaze.  Lacaze made the most of the opportunity, firing a perfectly struck volley past the Zags keeper into the upper left corner of the net.  Just over a minute later Weishaar struck again, out racing a defender to a through ball, and sliding to strike the ball by the on rushing keeper with 12 seconds left to play in the game.

The Sabres also received an excellent effort from goalkeeper Bradley Elliott, who finished with 20 saves.

The 1-0 Sabres return to action Monday, September 14th at Baltimore Lutheran.
