Cheerleading team Supports Down Syndrome Event
Congratulations to the Bishop Ireton Cheerleading Team, who last Saturday participated in the "BUDDY WALK" benefitting the Down Syndrome Association of Northern Virginia. The team spent five hours in the freezing rain and sleet to show support for and help to enhance the quality of life for individuals with Down Syndrome and their families. More importantly, their participation helped promote understanding and acceptance of all individuals with Down Syndrome. Way to go cheerleaders in giving back to the community!
