Alex Testoff scored a game-high 23 points for Severn (9-6, 4-3 in South Division), and Andrew Adams had 16. Senior guard Brandon Carroll led Curley (13-5, 7-2) with 18 points, and senior center Giga Kobakhindze added 17.
The Friars posted four victories last week including a 58-56 victory at defending B Conference champ and a 64-63 overtime decision over North Division leader and then-No. 12 ranked Mount Carmel, snapping a 10-gme winning streak by the Cougars. Sunday, Curley got past Boys' Latin, 65-63.
Curley led 27-21 at halftime Tuesday, but Severn was able to rally in the second half to snap a three-game losing streak. The Admirals won despite missing 14 of 26 free throw attempts.
Severn will play at Annapolis Area Christian in league action Friday evening. Curley will look to bounce back Thursday afternoon against St. Paul's School.
