NO. 9 ST. PAUL'S DEFEATS VISITING HOWARD, 3-1, IN VOLLEYBALL OPENER



In the season opener for both schools, ninth-ranked St. Paul's School for Girls overcame a slow start to defeat visiting Howard, 15-25, 25-15, 25-12, 25-13, in a non conference volleyball match, yesterday in Brooklandville.

Sophomore Bailey Webster led both teams with 15 kills and a .737 hitting percentage. Senior Michelle Bruno chipped in seven kills, while junior Jillian Unitas had four.

Junior Rachel Kelley led the attack with 28 assists and five aces.
