Jefferson (0-3) at Stone Bridge (3-0)

The Bulldogs have never lost to the Colonials in five all-time meetings. In fact, they have never won by less than 29 points.

Last year, Stone Bridge beat Jefferson in Week 9, 70-7, setting the school scoring record by the end of the third quarter.

In the Division 5 quarterfinals, without a running clock, the Bulldogs beat the Colonials more humanely, 58-7.

Stone Bridge has survived the most testing portion of its schedule, beating both Westfield and Westfield by three points. It now enters its Liberty District schedule, where it is 28-0 all-time.

Despite the tough early-season schedule, the Bulldogs still are the fourth-ranked scoring offense among Division 5 Northern Region teams.

Jefferson features arguably the best sophomore quarterback in the region, Kevin Karn, but has only scored one touchdown this season. The Colonials are the second-lowest scoring team in the Northern Region -- the third-lowest Division 5 team in the state.
